With a population of 5,325 residents, La Habra Heights is a rural canyon town in Los Angeles County. It lies along the border of the Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The city is mostly rural and is a favorite spot for animal husbandry, being encouraged by the city itself. It has very few businesses except some local stores and gas stations, but is otherwise devoid of commercial activity. La Habra Heights was incorporated on December 4th of 1978. It was part of the 1839 Rancho La Habra Mexican land grant. In the early 1900s Willis Hole bought the 3,500 acres and promptly sold it to Edwin Hart, who subsequently turned it into what it is today.
